Jiangte GM Gan Zilin Proposes Emergency Industry Chain Plan

        During the 2026 Hubei Two Sessions, Gan Zilin — deputy to the Hubei Provincial People's Congress, Vice Chairman of the Suizhou Municipal Committee of the China Democratic National Construction Association, and General Manager of Hubei Jiangnan Special Automobile Co., Ltd. ("Jiangte") — submitted proposals on accelerating the integration and upgrading of the emergency industry chain.

        Gan noted that the company has focused on the emergency industry for nearly 20 years, concentrating on two product categories: fire trucks and special purpose vehicles. Annual R&D spending is close to RMB 20 million, directed at key technical challenges. Addressing shortcomings in the emergency industry chain, he put forward three proposals: first, establish a dedicated program for key technology development and support leading enterprises in forming innovation consortia with universities and research institutes; second, map the full emergency industry chain and cultivate chain leader enterprises with ecosystem leadership; third, provide targeted funding for key projects that strengthen and extend the chain, and include advanced emergency products in provincial government procurement or recommended catalogues.

        In the coming year, the company will accelerate expansion in key areas including power supply vehicles, drainage and pumping, lithium battery fire suppression for new energy vehicles, firefighting robots and the serialization of aerial fire monitor trucks, while advancing digital and intelligent transformation to move up the value chain.
